Seminar on Advanced Optics Manufacturing Technology and Business Opportunities in Aspheric Optics, Backlight Display, Mobile Phone Camera and Zoom Lens Module
Speakers:
Mr. Young Jun KIM, Director in Advanced Planning Team, Diostech Co., Ltd, one of the most famous mobile phone camera companies in Korea
Mr. Kim has worked in Samsung Techwin and Samsung Electro-Mechanics as senior researcher and project leader over 12 years. He research areas & development includes optical design and advanced optical module (Digital camera lens module, mobile phone lens module, hologram optical pickup, lithography stepper, rear projection TV, DOE lens).
Prof. Unchung CHO, Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Korea Polytechnic University
Prof. Cho has acted as senior researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in 2000-2001. His research and development area focuses in ultra-precision optics manufacturing. Between 2003-2008, he will be involved in the Ultra-precision Optics and Photonics Cluster Project, which has received about 1 million US dollars a year in outside funding from Korean government and industry.
