Laser Interferometer Technology Seminar

Interference is an optical phenomenon that can be applied in quantitative measurement of optical path difference of a lens, or the departure of a reflective or transitive curved or flat surface from its reference shape. Laser interferometer, a non-contact typed measuring instrument making use of the properties of interference, is designed to address profile measurement of flat or spherical surfaces by using high frequency laser beam.

The seminar aims to introduce the latest technical development in interferometer for ultra precision measurement.
